Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone and like seasonal clockwork, the street style pack has made an impression. It must be said, as much as we love the runways, there is some real drama being thrown down outside the shows. We ogled and side-eyed and scratched our heads as the attendees strutted their stuff.

Each city’s fashion week, from New York to Paris, maintains its own discernible flavour. London is undeniably quirky, whereas Milan’s streets exude Italian luxury and sharp tailoring and Paris offers a touch of whimsy with a chic sensibility. In New York however, the street styles can be all over the place. From majorly fun furs, to loud statement accessories, to superhero inspired looks, it’s safe to say New York Fashion Week-goers demand to be seen and snapped.

Editors offered their best Ali MacGraw impressions, while a few thought it was spring and donned some leg-baring, hypothermia-inviting looks. Browse the gallery below to check out the fun trends we spotted on the streets of New York’s Fall 2015 edition.

Hot on the heels of a dizzying week in New York, fashion’s followers fled the deep freeze and jetted across the pond for London’s turn in the style spotlight. Aside from trying to spot a pregnant Kate Middleton (who has, thus far, avoided the fashion fray) and most of Hollywood, who were undoubtedly prepping for the Oscars’ red carpet, a whole host of top models have turned up, including Sophie Dahl atTemperley, Stella Tenant at Pringle of Scotland and duo du jour Cara Delevigne and Kendall Jenner at Sunday’s Topshop Unique show. The city’s star designers proved their prowess over a jam packed weekend, which included J.W. Anderson‘s unabashed ode to the ‘80s, Pringle of Scotland’s 200th anniversary celebration, Sophia Webster‘s otherworldly accessories presentation and Mary Katrantzou‘s plastic fantastic embellishments.

In honour of last night’s awards, we distilled London Fashion Week’s Fall 2015 offerings down to the top 5 looks worth scrimping and saving for. After all, it’s never too early to start planning next season’s shopping list.
